Beware of Zillow Room Rentals & Child Predators

A North Las Vegas Landlord reported in September of 2022 that he received a suspicious inquiry from a man seeking to rent a room. The landlord advertised one of his properties on Zillow Room Rentals.

The prospective tenant stated that he worked at a local North Las Vegas, NV, area restaurant in Aliante.

He gave his name as Nathan Fisher, and listed his employment at TGIF, inside the Aliante Casino.

Using a Pre-Screening tool provided by Las Vegas Roomshares, it was determined that Nathan Ray Fisher was an accused child predator. On July 30th, 2021, Las Vegas Review Journal reporter Sabrina Schnur published a story about Operation Dark Knight; a law enforcement sting that allegedly targeted men who were documented child molesters, as well as men who were also attempting to lure children online for dirty and immoral acts.

The Las Vegas Roomshare Pre-Screening service determined that Nathan Fisher was the subject of a law enforcment investigation that included the FBI, Southern Nevada Human Trafficking Task Force and so-called police officers from North Las Vegas, NV; Las Vegas, NV; Henderson, NV; and, Homeland Security, according to a statement from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department .

The purported law enforcment investigation arrested at least 15 men. 98% of the men arrested were either white or Hispanic.

According to the Henderson Police Department, and the Las Vegas Review Journal, one of the men arrested in Operation Dark Knight was a long-haired, white-male named Nathan Ray Fisher.

In other words, Nathan Ray Fisher was using Zillow Roomshares to find either potential new victims or a Las Vegas room in a private home. Apparently, Zillow conducted no pre-screening services that should have blocked Nathan Fisher from using the Zillow Roomshare service.

Use of Zillow Room Rentals by Accused Online Predators To Target Nevada Residents

After reporting the incident to Zillow Room Rentals, the Landlord was apparently blocked from all future use of Zillow. This apparently is an indication that Zillow is a convenient destination for accused or convicted child molesters, or accused predators.

Consequently, users of Zillow should exercise caution. Women and children who use Zillow may be vulnerable.

Is Zillow Room rentals a magnet for perverts, child molesters, and persons who prey upon clean and moral persons?? The answer to that question is unclear. What we do know that is pre-screening tools used by Las Vegas Roomshares and Private Rentals would have de-listed any listings by Nathan Fisher, and blocked his access to our website.

Las Vegas Roomshares does not punish persons who report suspected abuse of our services.

Some media outlets report that Nathan Fisher was referred to as "Nate-the-Pervert" in high-school. He was caught red-handed in Las Vegas lusting after children, according to his arrest report! Refer to Henderson Case #21CRH000873. He was charged with two felonies: Charge # 1: 60471 - FELONY ATT LEWDNESS BY PERSON OVER 18 W/CHILD UNDER AGE 1; Charge # 2: 55229 - FELONY ATT CHILD ABUSE OR NEGLECT, 1ST.

Despite public knowledge of these arrest accusations, Zillow allowed Nate Fisher to use its services. Even when the Landlord complained and bright these facts to the attention of Zillow, Zillow and pervert Nate apparently worked together to ban the innocent landlord.

Conclusion: Beware of Zillow Roomshare Listings

After his experience with Zillow Room listings, the landlord feels that the Zillow website is unsafe, unreliable, and fails to screen persons arrested or charged with luring or preying upon children. Nathan Ray Fisher was never denied access to Zillow despite his public arrest record.

Despite the facts of his arrest report, and his alleged attempts to lure under-age children into his car, Nathan Ray Fisher is still not a registered Sex Offender!

Las Vegas Roomshares was created with one purpose in mind: To always protect the safety of both landlors, and the tenant. Therefore, we require pre-screening of both property owners as well as prospective rental tenants.
